The retailer known for wedding registries, home appliances, bed sheets and college dorm stuff filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Sunday. Bed Bath & Beyond will close all of its stores and liquidate its inventory at closing sales set to begin Wednesday, CNN reported. The company also owns retailer buybuy Baby. Bed, Bath & Beyond employs 14,000 people in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Florida has 41 Beth, Bath & Beyond stores, including in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
